Let me introduce myself

I am known by most as T.K. and my last name is Langston. I am a freelance designer/developer based on the east coast, more specifically in the greater Hartford area of Connecticut.

Everyone is entitled to their Opinions

Well frankly I don't feel at all entitled, but occasionally I find myself sharing my opinion. Even then they are more often observations but this why a website to share such is what this is.

The story of a Desk

Harken back to the days when to relay a message a pad with "from the desk of" would suffice. Many a day was saved by such brief notes and careers made from printing such necessary pads. Kinda were I got my start in the world of design.

One of my first Graphic Communications project was creating one of those from start to finish. Typesetting, darkroom, platemaking, setting up the press, printing and then glueing the 100 pages together. And before you ask, nope I didn't keep any of them pages ...

Fast forward some years and I find myself working primarily from home at my desk. It is only fitting that these writings come from there. It is a most humble desk that is the spring board for both creative ideas and haven for problem solving.

Weekend Project

When comes to writing for this site, I am taking the "weekend project" approach. I've got a day job and so this isn't my priority but it is a project I plan to give due attention to. There are plenty of ideas, opinions and thoughts rolling around that will make their way here. So thanks for tuning in ...
